What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first appointment is an opportunity for your provider to understand what you have been experiencing, review your relevant psychiatric and medical history, discuss your goals, and determine appropriate treatment options together.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Up to 60 minutes

Initial psychiatric evaluations may last up to 60 minutes.

Follow-Up Appointments

Up to 30 minutes

Follow-up appointments may last up to 30 minutes.

Treatment Planning

Depending on your individual needs, treatment may include medication management, ordering laboratory testing, GeneSight testing, and other appropriate psychiatric interventions.

When psychotherapy or another specialized treatment is indicated, your provider may collaborate with or recommend other qualified healthcare professionals as appropriate.
